Terms of use
In force since October 28, 2026. · Léela en español
These terms are the agreement between you and whoever offers Tagaro. By creating your account or using Tagaro, you accept them. They are written to be understood; if anything is unclear, write to hello@tagaro.app.
What Tagaro is
Tagaro is a personal, private diary, for iPhone. You keep moments (text, photos, voice notes, places and people) and see them as the thread of your life. Tagaro, the character, can help you with AI if you want: giving titles, asking about what you left half-told and writing each week’s line.
It is offered by Jose Antonio Neto Suárez, Spanish tax ID (NIF) ES29607219D, C/ Manuel Vela 37, 21440 Lepe (Huelva), Spain. Contact: hello@tagaro.app.
Your account
- You need to be at least 14 years old.
- You sign in with your email and a code we send you; there are no passwords. Look after access to your email and your iPhone: whoever has them can get into your diary.
- An account belongs to one person. Don’t share it or use someone else’s.
- You can sign out or delete your account whenever you want, in Settings.
What you keep is yours
Everything you write, say or upload to Tagaro is yours and stays yours. You only give us permission to keep it, process it and show it to you, and to send it to the providers explained in the privacy policy, with the sole purpose of providing the service. That permission ends when you delete it or delete your account.
What you keep is your responsibility. If you keep photos or the voices of other people, do so respecting their rights.
We recommend exporting your diary from time to time (Settings › Your data) and keeping that copy.
Acceptable use
By using Tagaro you agree not to:
- use it for anything illegal or to keep illegal content;
- try to get into other people’s accounts, our servers or parts of Tagaro you have no access to;
- interfere with how it works, overload it or use it with automated programs;
- copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app, except as far as the law allows;
- use Tagaro’s AI for anything other than your diary, or try to make it say or do what it shouldn’t.
If someone breaks these terms seriously or repeatedly, we may suspend or close their account. Unless the law or urgency prevents it, we will warn them first and give them the chance to export their diary.
AI
AI is optional and only used if you accept it. You can turn it off in Settings › Privacy and AI.
What Tagaro writes with AI (titles, questions, summaries, descriptions) are suggestions. It can be wrong or misunderstand something: review it, change it or delete it whenever you want.
Tagaro is not therapy or a medical or psychological service, and what it says is not professional advice. If what you write seems to be about hurting yourself, it shows you a help line, but that is detected by an AI that can fail, and nobody watches your diary. If you are in danger, call 112 or your country’s emergency number.
What is sent to each AI provider, and when, is in the privacy policy.
Price
Today Tagaro is free: no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no ads.
If there is ever something paid, we will tell you in advance and you will decide. What you have already kept will still be yours and you will always be able to export it.
The app and its licence
We give you a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Tagaro on your devices, for your personal use. The Tagaro name, the character, the design and the code are ours; these terms give you no rights over them beyond using them this way.
If you download Tagaro from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence for apps also applies. Apple is not responsible for Tagaro or for supporting it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Tagaro always running, but there may be outages, errors or pauses to improve it. We may change, add or remove features.
If we ever decide to close Tagaro, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can take your diary with you.
Liability
We give you Tagaro as it is, for free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, for the loss of data that is not our fault, or for what you decide to do based on what the AI says.
None of this limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If a disagreement arises, write to us first at hello@tagaro.app and let’s try to sort it out. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the laws of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in anything important, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days in advance. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Tagaro and delete your account before they apply; if you keep using it afterwards, we will take it that you accept them.
